Brightside for Families & Children
Angel Campaign
Special annual events focus attention on helping the children at Brightside.
The yearly Brightside Angel Campaign allows churches, schools and mall shoppers
to purchase unique collectable Angel products during the Christmas season. Thanks
to our wonderful volunteers, 100% of funds raised support Brightside.

Through the years, the Brightside Paper Angel, which still sells for $1, has
become a tradition in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. Today,
many thousands of Paper Angels are sold at local shopping malls, selected convenience
stores, churches, and some schools. Hundreds of volunteers staff the retail booths
throughout the holiday season.
Angel Products include the following:
- Paper Angel Ornament (a different design each year)
- Ceremic Angel Ornament (a different design each year)
- Angel Lapel Pin
- Angel Beads for bracelets
- Angel Stuffed Animals
- Angel Coffee Mug
- Angel Votive Candle-holder, candles and soaps
- Chocolate Angel Lollipops (milk, white, or dark chocolate).
Be an Angel: Volunteer to help sell Brightside Angels
Shifts are available at all times of the day and all days of the week from Thanksgiving
to Christmas at the following locations:
- Holyoke Mall at Ingleside
- Mercy Medical Center Lobby
